west coast girl in the east coast. somehow i feel like i was born to be a new yorker. it just feels right. i kind of miss driving though. i hope i don’t forget how by the time i go home to visit. :P

starting school in a couple weeks, still getting adjusted to the new hood. so many hot guys roaming around, but can’t tell if they’re straight or gay. lot of hot girls wandering around too! the competition is pretty fierce in nyc! lol. it’s all good though. either way, it’ll be nice to make some new friends! so excited to be here. paaaaarty! :P just kidding dad! (doubt he will ever see this but just in case. lol) :P

such great stuff at ikea for such low prices. i don’t mind having to put all the stuff together myself, sheeeet, i’m not that spoiled. ;P

okay, focus helen, focus!

thank god there was already an air conditioner in the apartment before i moved in. i’m sweating so much. gross! time for a shower! STAT! …or STATIM! ;)

just moved to manhattan! too rad for words! living in the east village just a hop, skip and jump to the lower east side, soho, billyburg and all the other dopes spots i have yet to discover.
there oh so many cute shops around i better be careful and not go broke!
time to go look for some yummies. food, people! jeez get your mind out of the gutter. ;) hummus place?! crepes? hmm…
